He’s named after Makar, in the game Wind Waker, the original nintendo character is a little Korok with a violin. He ends up being the decendent of the deseased Wind Sage, Fado.

I named him Makar because the song he's based off, the Title song of Wind Waker, sounds similar to his prayer song "the Wind God's Aria" so i thought it was very fitting that he was named after the player of the song (also, I don't think it was intentional, but he looks a bit like the little Korok in coloring, see for yourself [link] )
